I do not know
where you are now.
I do not know
if you ever think
of me.
I do not know
if you remember
the days we had.
But I know this—
The love was real.
It was real
when I could not say it.
It was real
when I hid it.
It was real
when you left.
And it is still real
now.
It has just become
quiet.
Once,
I loved you
with words.
Today,
I love you
with memories.
And perhaps
that is all
that remains—
the remnants
of a love
I could never say.
